| Q. I've signed up,
what next?
A. You will receive an email in a few minutes with a username
(in the form 4DHxxx where xxx is a combination of letters
and numbers) and a randomly generated password. Note the
password is case sensitive. Log in to your control panel
from control.yourdomain.com and go to billing. From here you
can make you first payment which will activate your account.
|
| Q. OK, I've made a payment and
want to set up my domain. What do I do?
A. Now that you have made a payment, you can set up your
domain. Log into your control panel and go to 'Domains'
then 'Add New' and follow the on screen instructions.
|
| Q. I want you to register/transfer
my domain. What do I do?
A. We can organise domain name registrations for you as part of the service. From here you
can transfer or register a domain cheaply. The important
thing to remember is to make sure you set the DNS servers
to our ones - ns1.truedns.com and ns2.truedns.com
|
| Q. I've created my site and sorted
out my domain, what's left to do?
A. We just need to set up your computer so you can upload
your site and send and receive email. The FTP details to
upload your site are:
Host: ftp.yourdomain.com
Username: yourdomain.com
Password: as specified in email
The email details are:
SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com
POP3: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: mail@yourdomain.com
Password: as specified in email
Note: you need to enable SMTP authentication

| Q. I want to test my site before
changing the DNS servers, how do I do this?
A. This is very easy - all you have to do is change the
connection properties in Windows for your modem or internet
device. You want to set the DNS server addresses to our
ones: 213.232.71.145 and 213.232.71.162.
This simulates what it would be like after the DNS has been
changed. |
